This video is the first ever video that I have written and produced. Its broad topic is Body Image, which is also going to be the topic of my bachelor project. It was my semester project for the course Video 1.
For me it was very important to do something that wasn’t to hard to pull off, so I could do it right. I came up with this idea and though it fit the topic quite well. I wrote the text myself. Thanks to my class mates I quickly found a group of actors. The bits of text for each person are carefully selected to fit their persona. This however isn’t true for all of them, most though.
In retrospect I am remotely satisfied with this. At the time I was super happy, because I didn’t think I could pull of something like this off. Now however, I’d do the lighting differently, to ultimately up the contrast of the video a little bit.
